NASA has released the UFO report

NASA has published the results of a year-long study of UFOs. The agency's main conclusion was that the study of UFOs will require new scientific methods, including modern satellites, as well as the rejection of stereotypes associated with unidentified flying objects.

On September 14, a group of scientists released a 36-page report titled "Independent Investigation of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena" that makes a number of recommendations on how NASA can better facilitate scientific research into UFO encounter situations. The document states that the few UFO encounters cannot be immediately identified as man-made or natural phenomena. It is also noted that the study of these phenomena requires new reliable data collection methods, advanced analytical techniques, a systematic reporting system, and a reduction in stigma.

It is known that experts did not have access to classified documents, but used only publicly available information on observations of anomalous phenomena. According to NASA representatives, one of the objectives of the study was to better ensure the safety of airplanes in the air.
