There are a huge number of mysterious places found on the continent of America. Many mysterious structures were built here in ancient times, whose purpose and secrets modern science cannot unravel.
Ancient America is revealed to us from a great height. We are talking about the Nazca desert plateau in Peru in South America, where only in 1927 were found giant drawings, later called geoglyphs. The drawings cannot be seen from the ground, but they are clearly visible from a bird's eye view. This is because the soil has been removed from the trenches to a depth of 50 centimetres and a metre and a half wide. Geoglyphs are geometric figures and intricate patterns. They depict various figures: a spider, a monkey, a heron, a fish, a crocodile and others. The lizard figure is 180 metres long, the monkey 120 metres, the spider 46 metres. The spirals, lines, intersecting stripes and all of these are just as huge. There are about 788 figures depicted on the plateau, as well as many lines and spirals. What the drawings were made for in the first place, science cannot yet answer.
In addition to the Nazca desert, in the structures of ancient America, a special place is occupied by the famous Teotihuacan, located 50 km. from Mexico City. It is a complex of unique ancient structures, according to legends, built by the gods. The city of Teotihuacan is an ancient city (you could say metropolis), whose builders are unknown to history, with pyramids and surrounding structures, which from the air resemble a modern computer board.
Another mysterious Ancient American complex has been found in Bolivia, El Fuerte de Samaypata. Traces of three cultural civilizations have been discovered here. The most ancient rock has been found here, 250 metres high and formed by soft sandstone. The rock surface is covered with petroglyphs - carved figures of animals, men and fish. There is also a large "Priests' Choir", a mysterious construction of 18 niches. But the main enigma of the complex is El Cascabel. It is a circle carved into the hill, very similar to a manhole. Some historians have even concluded that the object was created by the Doinka civilization in honor of Halley's comet. Some of them even believe that El Cascadelle may have been a launching pad for aircraft. It is no secret that in South America (and not only) are found ancient "model aeroplanes", whose origin cannot be explained by modern science. This version is indirectly confirmed by local legends. According to them, the gods returned to heaven from Mount El Fuerte.
In South America at the junction of Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana is the table mountain of Roraima. It may not even be a mountain at all but rather a man-made pyramid that appears in Aboriginal lore as a place favoured by celestial visitors. No less interesting is the carved stone image of the Maya's most famous ruler, the Great Pacal, sitting on some ancient flying machine.
This is only some of the material evidence, the number of which has been multiplying over time. The tales, legends and myths of journeys by unidentified flying machines in the Americas have no end. The mysteries of ancient America are still unsolved. The only thing to recognise is that many thousands of years before the Incas, Aztecs, Maya and Olmecs, an entirely different and far more technically advanced civilisation left its mark in Central and South America.
